I married a winter person. My husband loves the snow. The second it looks like there will be enough for sledding and snowmen, he has our daughters in their snow gear and off to the levy to sled. I stay home and prep the hot cocoa. This year my husband and girls got only one sledding outing. A poor turnout indeed.
I felt bad for them…or as bad as a person who cannot stand the white slushy stuff can. But now it is March. In fact, it is almost the END of March. And this week we had flurries. The hoodies still haven’t been replaced with long sleeve t-shirts and my garden flowers popped up only to disappear when the frost returned.
So I am ready for winter to acknowledge that it does not get option days for unused snow during its actual season. It’s time for it to retreat until the end of the year and for spring to finally role in!
The one good thing about the cold is it means more writing and reading time.
I have a free read available on the Harlequin website. The second chapter is available today! Paramedics Mia and Lacey have worked together for a year…and now things are heating up. This duo runs patients to Hope Hospital - my duet out in April. So you can get a sexy preview of what’s to come with the weekly installments in this short read.
And this month…like every month in 2024…I have a free read for you from the talented Terri Wilson. Terri is one of my FAVORITE romance authors. She writes for Harlequin Special Edition and her Hallmark book, Unleashing Mr. Darcy, was made into a Hallmark movie!
You do not want to miss this free read from Terri.
When a budding fashion designer finds a cardigan sweater that once belonged to movie star and real-life princess Grace Kelly, her entire life begins to change. But how long will the movie magic last?
What’s coming up for Juliette?
